Smiling Hugs to Simone Biles for Pulling Through the Stress of 'Twisties' and Showing the World It's Okay to Ask for Help!

I have been able to keep up with a few headlines and stories about Simone Biles as has anyone tuned into the Olympics has...and the concern and realization that former Olympian Extraordinare and current Olympic contender Simone Biles was stepping out of the team competition and then other programs as well was a huge wake up call to the world that it's really not as easy as the pros make it look even if everyone trusts and knows there's a mind game as well as physical set of super skills at play.I have just read she will do beam so wish her and all the contenders in the many fields all the

Saying hello to everyone in celebration of the Big Parade in Canaan at 6pm and the festivities and fireworks thereafter..

.I do encourage people to give their kids earplugs to teach them to press the natural tab in to block hearing rather than only cover one's ears...and Earplugs or silencing headphones may do the trick even better...and for any with infants, please watch from within a car since I've had some folks share they had bad effects on the kids..and even if pregnant, please use precaution and Protect From Loud Sounds (and jarring movements, hot tubs or hot baths, etc and other ideas

Wild Fires and Flooding and Droughts, Oh Why?! See 350.org and The Climate Reality Project for more info

Some e-mails jump out and make me pause from my busy skimming through dozens a day. One from The Climate Reality Project had info about "urgent climate action needed." Of course we do, but where do we turn and how do regular folks tune in and organize?

They are running a fundraising campaign to reach a goal of $5000 to help a 'rapid response' to address matters. I hope to learn more details about what they are doing but thought I could at least pass on the info so see climatereality.com

Of course 350.org is hopefully becoming a household term around the world as people realize having more

Quoted From Bing:This is but a tiny portion of what's often called the longest hiking-only trail in the world. Today we're in Stokes State Forest along the top edge of New Jersey, and that 2-by-6-inch white stripe tells us that we're on the famous Appalachian Trail (the 'AT' to those in the know). And what a day to be here, for July 8, 2021, is the trail's 100th birthday.

It was 100 years ago today that the trail was first conceived by a Connecticut forester named Benton MacKaye.
