Checking in Before the Next Big Thing (the Winter Storm Wrapping Up Jan 2021) and More!

on Sat, 01/30/2021 - 02:09

February 1st lands on a Monday so this month will be easier to keep track of in terms of 'Monday-1 day, Tuesday 2-day, Wednesday 3-day, Thursday 4-day, Friday 5-day, Saturday 6-day, and Sunday 7-day. Yes, Sunday is officially the first day of the week, but with the work week or weekdays being the busy days for folks, Monday-Friday, it just kind of makes sense.

The Jewish tradition  marks sundown on Friday as the start of the Sabbath and that continues through Saturday  sundown (and Sat. does sound like the Sabbath, I'll have to look into that.) It's helpful to appreciate traditions from around the world and over the eons. February 1st is the midway point between the fall and winter equinox, a friend Mary Campbell (of Divining Beauty) shared.

It is a Celtic day with a special name..so google that...The Christian church marks the Sabbath, a day of rest, on Sunday. A tip many may appreciate more is learning that the Orthodox Christian church capital was in Constantine but moved to Rome with the Great Schism at 1000 AD, with Roman Catholic church having a Pope in Rome. I'll have to review more about the development of more religions and such, but for many Catholics or Orthodox, Protestants are not counted as 'real Christians' and vice versa...

That hopefully can shift to appreciate the modern contributions of many people exploring the ways to co-exist in many ways...Understanding the traditions and such are important to consider that many people are living with the rules, regulations, guidance and opportunities within their religious or social circles which can be very close-knit but also controlling.

Many faith and social groups can have an ex-communication set of criteria and such that would exclude one or more people due to an array of rules and 'violations' that may not be criminal but break the code of the tradition or group. All programs would be worth considering 'what the basic world view, beliefs and traditions are for the people in a group or area' and make sure there is a way to give information and access to people in a variety of ways.

Now I wanted to share that I'm taking a few programs and will share some highlights here soon. Exciting programs really with Janet and Chris Attwood of The Passion Test and about making a meaningful effective book to connect with my tribe and get my message out there in a bigger way. These first thousand posts are hopefully warming the waters, hearts and minds. Let me know on one of my FB pages, Catherine Palmer Paton or Livfully. Meanwhile applaud if you're game for that with a donation of any amount (no size too big!) at my business paypal link, https://paypal.me/cathpalmpaton333?locale.x=en_US

As I brave sharing my life experience, hardwon and inspired wisdom, the world can take it and

run with it hopefully to win-win goals. I am sharing this on the night of a lovely full moon I got to watch

peek out from behind a whale of a mountain in the early cold evening.

It was inspiring so I drove to see

a better view of it rising from a parking lot at a place that I used to bike to as a kid to swim in a frog pond.

Over the years it got paved and even had fiberglass type coating, not the easiest thing on tender feet.

Now there's a better pool not that far away which took a decade to approve, fund and implement. But back

to the moon, it's a beauty and one for all of us to ponder much more about, in between good nights of sleep!

Thanks again for reading, sharing and 'daring to care' about oneself and others in balanced ways.

Stay tuned

for pearls of insights such as the many applications of the 80/20 rule by a fellow named Perry which has been

applied to many situations and can be used in designing one's life and business..basically 80 percent of results

come from 20 percent of effort..so find out what is bringing in the biggest bang for your effort. Be ready to

network, delegate, run through options and get a few more and some consultants (friends, family and people who

know what you are writing or talking about...and so on.)

Check out offerings from David Shiang and Deb Poneman

too, some great offers out there by many of my faves also (from podcasts to programs...and products.) See
