Ice Dancing: French Pair Take Home the Gold

on Mon, 02/14/2022 - 05:28

From the NY Times (for me to remember to look up a replay... hopefully others too can take time to see their performances!)

Gabriella Papadakis and Guillaume Cizeron of France, the four-time world champions, won the gold medal for the ice dance after falling just short at the 2018 Olympics.

I've seen a few events and every time am inspired to think about getting outdoors, doing a bit more walking or physical activity with a sense of being on a winning team. I help someone with ADLs (sounds exciting and it is...walking, eating and basics like that.) I have others I'd like to help such as people with young children and so I want to stay in shape or develop my stamina for more lifting, walking, cleaning and carrying stuff ( just part of life.)  I am fairly careful about body dynamics and like to imagine if I could cross country ski or just hike and spend more time 'pushing my comfort zone' everyday life would be a whole lot breezier (yes, easier.)
