Hello One and All In the Folk Music World and Wider Community. Times they are a changin' and the Folk Legacy Website will be taken down shortly, www.folklegacy.com. The company will likely be in good hands shortly under new terms, so hold off on the orders..They'll be available in a bit. But do enjoy one last peek at the 'original site.'

And wishing all a musical summer, autumn, winter and spring..and sure that's a wink to James Taylor who has the chorus starting with Winter, spring, summer or fall, all you have to do is call. Keep calling in the songs and good times such as Folk Legacy Records has created for many in its hundred and fifty recordings over the last six decades...

By the way if you have interest in helping figure out possible amazing options for The Folk Legacy Records property, where many of those recordings were made during week-long recording sessions, with the artists living there and enjoying the hospitality of the Caroline and Sandy (Charles Alexander) Paton, leave a comment with an idea or send dreams and ideas to thinkingkapp@gmail.com.

Thanks in advance for supporting music from the ground up and welcoming the songs that come into your own heart and circles. How about sharing some favorite artists and songs in the comments...and here's a Shout Out to Kate Callahan, CT State Troubadour who played at  Winsted's Wonderful AMP, American Mural Project, recently with her two back up singers... Check out her original song, CT Roads.

Another recognition I want to share (even at this late hour of the day) is for Walking Our Talk (WOT) based in Great Barrington MA. Creating caring creative circles and gatherings for women to share and support one another has enhanced the lives of dozens of women and likely their circles as well. Facebook groups help keep the energy going along with Super Circles to help women from various sessions keep in touch and encouraged. Group leaders facilitate weekly sessions for 8 weeks, projects are explored whether working on relaxation, leading a class, opening a shop or creating art or much more.

Finding a way to share part of one's life and also to create a sense of support to address themes are all parts of the experience. Appreciation for all who have been part of creating such a wonderful network and attending the sessions and keeping it vibrant with energy and love and good works is shared here to help inspire others to find a niche or tribe and take a few more steps in trusting the wider community.

Since it's late I'll wrap this up. I will be volunteering at Kent Presents in CT, another amazing vision and effort that is setting a bigger forum and way to give back to the community.
