Hot Off the Internet Press, New York Make Music Day (6-21-17) and Month of June

on Wed, 05/17/2017 - 19:22

As great as it is to learn of these exciting musical events and opportunities, it's even Better to Share the News. So the last paragraph is what's on the web vebatim about June being NY Music Month (NYMM). The Make Music New York Event also has a website with the full schedule of hundreds of free perfomances online by June 1st (most likely.) Hope this way to welcome summer, mark the solstice and the longest daylight year makes it onto everyone's calendar or happy box to join in as one can (even online...). Start singing and dreaming and finding your tribe to make music with or join in the fun that will unfold that day. Likely will make May fly by, but lots of things need a wing and a prayer (including our planet... so plant some trees that fit one's region and zip code. Doug Tallamy makes a great case for spreading the word and info as soon as possible to help our air for survival and the birds who are key to keeping nature in balance for humans-- who knew?

Certain trees meet those needs, like oaks, pines and a few other key kinds. Specifics are online and I'll put more on soon, but Humans Must Tune In Now if we Want a Planet we can Live On Reasonably in the Next Decade. The downward decline of birds is not something we can recover from easily, same goes for the oceans, but planting trees over half the cleared areas can give us a fighting chance on many levels. Not living close to the edge (as on the Shoreline of beaches and such) is also a key idea people must be ready to Face and Work Together to do Voluntarily...since governments have a great way of delaying to line the pockets of who knows whom while people perish needlessly (and that's around the whole world since The Oceans Are Rising....)

But for now, put it in a song and sing it out while that's still legal to do so on the solstice.. we need to save our souls, the ice, the birds, the waters, the land and not lose faith. There's gotta be a song and tune in that somewhere...Somewhere over the rainbow or elsewhere..maybe in your heart or dreams, your tears or screams..but however we can find a harmonic hum and collective heartbeat drum, we can find our new hOMe to save our one dear heart and earth, pacha mama with the Divine's blessings...

Likely we are all counting on one another to do our 'small part' which could make all the difference... See Remembering Kaelan Alexander  1/1993-6/2009) for the story of one lad who gave all he had to save his friends..and feel free to put some inspiration to music or song and movement as that may come to you to do even in your dreams.. peace and many thanks with love for all those above who tried and who journeyed to another realm (and may be coaching us as we allow) after they died... With HugEngery and Hugs,  Livfully aka Catherine Palmer Paton (Kaelan's Mom)
