 With summer in the air (and tornadoes and even hurricane season news in Puerto Rico), it's time to think 'safety in numbers' and "musical numbers to keep our minds off the scary stuff" or maybe to Fundraise for the Causes whether locally or globally. I want to keep my priorities straight and the news that Puerto Rico is Not Ready for the new hurricane season is something locals are working to address in that sunny island and likely could use all the help they can get.

Hello Everyone in the Real World wherever you are even though we connect online. Skim down half-way to get to my CT adventures, or if you want wander through my meandering take-off from Brooklyn to Grand Central Then to NWCT. Hope you get out and about to enjoy the summer in new places and see some new faces (and good ol' ones too.)

 I did not think I'd be spending a weekend out and about ihe northwest corner of CT from Friday evening, August 5th, 2016 through Sunday around 7pm, August 7th but apparently the angels had a few plans for me.

For folks in the Tri-Corner MA/NY CT area (Say Sheffield to Sharon, and Goshen to Amenia), the Falls Village Pool may be a great place for a cool destination visit for you or others you'd like to plan to enjoy it with. Check the town recreation site for rules and fees.

They are fairly reasonable for individuals from other towns (5 dollars per person per day). For a three hour party, there's a fee of $125 so see how many folks you could invite to make that worth while.
