Wider Reflections on Difficult Challenges in the Tri-Corner Area and Beyond...Tom Drew, Peter Reilly Case, Kaelan Paton, Princess Diana, Steven Greer Ideas and More for Everyone to Consider
On my blog livfully.org I explore many aspects of the Big Question "What IF in L-IF-E there is more going on than we can readily comprehend? What IF we allow ourselves to ask questions to understand history and glean lessons or improve our collective chances for survival as a species, even as communities, friends and families?" What might be the warnings and messages for US-All to tune into and advocate for improvements about...fair treatment of those in compromised situations whether due to an illness, disability, change of circumstances or income, or facing stress or natural disasters...There is a growing list of 'top ten concerns' which Should Concern Everyone. It is no longer the job of only a few people with a particular hairdo or title to comprehend 'what is going on' and why downward spirals continue and gain force, costing great sums and often not meeting basics needs.
Those are Much Bigger questions than I ever allowed myself to ask publicly ten years ago when caring for Tom Drew, 91 of Salisbury, part-time to help give his main caregiver, Mario Zecca, weekends off. This post, written to reflect ten years later on events I have covered in other parts of this blog and extensively in a lengthy deposition (which to the credit of the Drew sisters, likely was a good inquiry to make but I would have cooperated voluntarily most likely to save them the cost. )
I believe the police have a copy of at least my deposition but I don't know for sure how all that works. I have always thought it would be nice if the wider community (even nationally since it's been a publicized case) could raise funds to help the Drew sisters feel supported in facing this issue that is primarily about dementia but may include other elements if foul play occurred after he left the premises of his lovely home at the end of country dirt road near the border of CT and MA and not that far from NY. "MA/NY CT", or Many Connect is a way I think of the tri-corner area. Sadly with Tom Drew's photo on many bulletin boards and even telephone posts in the area for years, Tom drew us together as a caring, concerned community. Yet Who would independently keep track of the many theories and possibilities that seemed to emerge, the investigations and searches, the false leads and the true accounts from myself and likely from Mario Zecca who arrived home at 7:30 pm with his friend and helped me search for a half hour before we put a call into the police at my urging since I knew it would take some time to actually start a search. I won't cover that now but have done so on many occassions in various posts.
Tom Drew had left his house by himself, Mario told me briefly, by going out to the bridge about a month or so before. He was glad to find him and hadn't thought to tell me and felt it wasn't going to happen again. I was upset learning of such a risk since that had not been the case and I'd had many worries I had shared with people about whether there was enough appropriate care for Tom. I had stayed about ten times without pay, though later read that the Drew sisters said they had paid me 50 dollars a night to do so which was something I had offered to do in case money were tight. I was told each time that I was not expected to stay or wanted to stay but I'd answer I felt it was the only right thing to do, so we'd just have to let it be my call.
In many cases where someone is trying their best and maybe even others supporting someone and something still goes wrong, it is important to consider the wisdom a friend gave me when I was distraught over the loss of Princess Diana...that "all of life is an act of faith."
She was not particularly religious but I found that to be very comforting and stabilizing. I had written a note to the paper at the time saying that Diana's passing connected us as members of the web of humanity, with the tears being like the dew on a spider's web. Mother Teresa passed shortly after so I shared the idea that our heartfelt connections were making us into a worldwide family. Now we know there likely was foul play in Diana's passing, as is the case in so many famous or instrumental people trying to get the truth out. Steven Greer's work is becoming more respected even though it puts him in danger.
The main issue he pursues is there is likely a secret world of trouble brewing literally just below the surface workings of this world. See his work on youtube and on Netflix. Now back to the Tom Drew situation, which at least one psychic has assured me has come to a peaceful conclusion..but was a message 'just for me.' I don't share that to annoy anyone, I asked if there was something for family and friends, and none was relayed. But that was the jist of what I was told so if some believe in that, perhaps more can take comfort in theories offered online and in books by the likes of Mark Anthony, John Holland and Jonothan Edward and many others.
On July 21st, 2007, Tom Drew wandered from his home when I was caring for him around 7:15pm. My son Kaelan, at age 16 drowned almost two years later on his last day of his freshman year of school with a group of friends being in peril at the Falls not far from where I grew up in Falls Village CT.
That is also the location of the book Guilty Until Proven Innocent by Donald Connery (with a movie depicting the case, A Death in Canaan) which explores the tragic consequences of Peter Reilly at age 16 being wrongly convicted of killing his mother, Barbara Gibbons. Thankfully friends and advocates such as Donald Connery and Arthur Miller rallied to dismiss his confession that was given under extreme interrogation and his verdict was overturned.
The outcome which he has spoken on over the years is to alert people not to speak to police or others without an attorney. Every year, 10K (if I recall that correctly from an article I read and should fact check..but it's a large number) are wrongly arrested if not convicted, and often are held in jail if they cannot make bail. Once in lock-up a person can end up in solitary for days, months or years.
Supposedly there will be major prison reform and half the prison population release due to the expense and such which I heard of from authors who spoke at the DM Hunt Library in Falls Village (aka officially as Town of Canaan) a couple of years ago. Again "prison should be everybody's business, to hold people accountable for who goes in or comes out and What Goes On There. Sadly a recent murder of a police woman seemed linked to a very troubled prisoner who'd done well on parole for five years but had indicated he would seek revenge for being badly beaten by guards for no reason when imprisoned.
With all of the synchronicity of places, tragedies and unanswered questions many more concerns and inquiries arise. Whose job is it to care for each person (even oneself if compromised or willing to be accountable to others such as when choosing a health care representative?)
What ad hoc and permanent teams could form in each town or district to review any case and whatever one would want to submit voluntarily and even anonymously to help assist with any matter of concern or turn of events.
The school personnel at HVRHS and the parents of the minors involved in Kaelan Paton's passing were not required to give a statement yet even now that would be welcome and important for more people to comprehend that situation.
Public apologies are not easy to facilitate but that too could improve. I would welcome anyone's insights and concerns about any of the matters mentioned.
I also extend my sincere sympathy to the family and friends of Tom Drew for not watching him more closely as his condition clearly indicated he needed. Ideally a website could clarify such terms of care for a person with any number of short-term or longer-term issues and recommend a team of support and hands-on people to check the overall health and accountability of care, record-keeping, payment and employment agreements.
There were troubling discrepancies in those areas. I stayed about ten nights to care for Tom Drew when I was told there was no coverage desired. Later I read the Drew sisters believe they were paying me $50 per night to do so which I never received.
Considering that I have been truthful and cooperative has not seemed an option for many even after I gave extensive depositions which I would have done voluntarily, saving others a legal expense. While it is perplexing and raises more questions of how people respond to sudden change, loss, difficulty or death, it is important to appreciate the many concerted efforts that grew out of persistence in asking questions and following many leads.
What possibly happened to Tom Drew after he left the premises is also one that many more states (and countries which on the internet is often a helpful way to make leaps of progress) should consider educating their citizens about to prevent decline in health (from exhaustion or dementia and getting lost), injury from natural dangers such as falls (even hitting one's head on a rock if unstable), waterfalls, rivers or water in general (especially for children but also for risk-prone people pushing limits, accidents when walking near traffic or harm from someone intentionally hurting someone or worse.
Those are all reasons to live with buddy systems of accountability linked in with statewide standards (legal or recommended) for supervising minors and compromised individuals, promoting regular eating, health checks, sleep and other basics that most functioning, competent people implement with daily and periodic routines.
The overall matter of 'life and death', when one begins or ends, is an open topic around the world. Some say we exist energetically or spiritually since the beginning of time on earth and have many lifetimes, possibly arising from the simplest life forms to more advanced ones over millenia.
That is among the teachings of Sri Chinmoy I believe who initiated NYC Meditation and centers on every continent with about 7 thousand practitioners currently. Then there are the many religions and views about life even beyond earth. Steven Greer has described the difference between 'real and fake' UFOs and aliens. He has alerted US-All that there may be a false flag event with a fake man-made UFO attacking us so many billions are earmarked for protected us. Many 'end of the world' scenarios are being described on the internet.
Maybe the personal and local challenges whether with physical, social, legal, health or other kinds of change and 'loss' are the training ground to try to comprehend what is happening currently and could be just around the corner.
It will take courage and teamwork not only with those in our lives here on earth but possibly those who have journeyed on ahead of us (however they crossed over or even if they are back among us as new kids on the block or as 'walk-ins' who come back into someone's body whose spirit was ready to move on...yes another strange but likely theory I feel in this 'age of organ donation and miracle saving processes zapping people back to life and then some--cyborg/ brain support etc.)
If we can take a few deep breaths and consider the quantum theory that we are all much more alike than not and even connected energetically we can become curious, ready to forgive and explore 'the truth' not only of events but of emotions and life stories as they seem to be unfolding and again, converging on a bigger wave of meaning for our time together here on plan-it earth heart.

Thinking With Love and Hope for Learning for US-All on 7-23-17
Today is Monday, July 17th, 2017. Ten years ago, my father who had been born in NM, died on June 3nd,2007 just before turning 85 on July 11th. My mom who had been born in CT had died on June 2nd, 2004 just before turning 82.
Both of them, Dale and Mary Palmer Srs. were younger children in large families born in 1922 and met in NH and married at age 22 during WW2 after he had been on a ship for 3 years of service in the Coast Guard.
When I heard of something called www.FiretheGrid.com on an email, I was intrigued to learn that a woman in Canada had almost drowned with her young son in a car accident but was saved by voices directing her to stay calm and trust help was on the way. That was as her car went off the road into a pond! Thankfully, she and her son were rescued and he needed help being revived and recovering fully.
That was aided by many people giving 20 minutes of their time to him for three days, sitting bedside and sharing a positive energy whether with a friendly chat, gentle touch or holding the space and thinking of good things to assist with a healing frequency. Those ideas seemed to come from outer space, but since both my parents and others close to me had died and still others were facing terminal or serious illnesses, I thought it sounded hopeful and promising. We were being invited to sit on the earth in a comfortable place, maybe near a tree and be grateful for an hour and trust out energy was refueling the energetic grid of the planet.
A million people all over the world were being invited to do just that for one full day in one hour intervals according to their time zone and a specific time. Ours on the East Coast of the US of A-Miracle was 7-11 am! I felt my Dad, a man who worked the earth and had a Mormon faith with interest in the theories of life on other planets and then some, was winking at me. Never one to be the center of attention at a party, the whole world would be taking note of his 'birth date' time.
I have since felt my son Kaelan and others have been 'wishing me a happy birthday' when I noted the time on the clock of 5:14 am and then again 5:14 pm the same day (having flown up the coast from Florida where Kaelan had been with good folks from time to time chasing waves and having some beach times with buds.)
The analogies of death like 'getting on and off a plane', from moving up the coast and from one timeline to then next have continued to unfold. With a chance to spend a day with Terah Cox at Crystal Essence, I learned more about Birth Angels and her work on heavenandearthworks.com. This is all a prelude to say that sadly on July 21st, 2007 after Tom Drew wandered, I felt an urgent need to give a public warning to my whole area and state (that's how Big I thought, state by state or maybe the Tri-corner, MA/NY CT area) that everyone should review their personal safety plans, at home, in cars and knowing where everyone is.
Likely that would be an Excellend idea for us Nationally and Internationally... the way we could do that is to have one day, maybe New Years's Day and the 4th of July to review the 'years' basic plan and see if there are any changes...) and then whatever age someone is to use the age chart I have..
Or based on their Last Name which would work best for families to work together and the day of the month that corresponds with that numerically go over a website and make a checklist...so that would be A-1, B-2, C-3 and so on.
Now this is the prelude to remembering that two days after Tom Drew went missing with no sign of him since in the physical realm, The Petit Family suffered a great tragedy of a home invasion and loss of three family members to two disturbed male felons.
The Foundation thankfully has been well supported and seeks to educate and prevent harm in communities. This kind of legacy is very meaningful and hopefully we can do something similar to address the community responses to heal and prevent harm from other kinds of losses or challenges. Thanks for reading and considering these ideas which hopefully can embolden everyone to live a meaningful, healthy, balanced life at all ages and to have trusty teams of support and a willingness to forgive, heal, learn and grow on all levels so we can continue to progress as a species and planet.
